Where you go shopping in North Smithfield largely depends on where you live. Slatersville residents have plenty of options in town, including the Slatersville Plaza and retail outlets along Route 5. Another option is the 146A connector leading into Woonsocket. Here you’ll find several large retail plazas with Walmart, Stop & Shop, PetSmart, Kohl’s, and CVS.

The last-standing drive-in theatre in Rhode Island. It’s open from April — September and showcases all types of movies and “double feature” night. Authentic 1950’s-style drive-in experience and fun for the family.


A long-running dairy farm in North Smithfield that sponsors great foodie events. There is a specialty cake shop, bakery, and ice cream parlor.
