Woonsocket

Woonsocket is Rhode Island’s sixth largest city located along the Massachusetts border in the northern part of the state. Woonsocket is rich with industrial history and preserved buildings and textile mills. The city has over 37 buildings and districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In recent years, the city has focused on revitalizing the downtown area by renovating the mills for residential and commercial use. Although a small city, Woonsocket has a really authentic feel and unique atmosphere. Downtown wraps around the Blackstone River and offers plenty of walkable restaurants, shops, parks, and historic scenery. You can find single and multi-family homes, condominiums, and unique spaces within the restored mills.
